I've been listening to P!nk recently, and this song got stuck in my head, reminded me of the silhouette family portrait I have in storage. Since I didn't have the real thing in front of me, some of the detail may be off (for one, I look like I'm brain damaged)
This is Daddy, Mom, and me before the divorce. When I get my own home, I'm hanging the real portrait on the wall.
I don't know much about my dad except the negative things Mom tells me, so despite what he did to me and her, I can not hate him without knowing him. I would have had a totally different life if he had never done those things, I would probably be rich, and spoiled, and daddy's little girl. Sometimes, I can't help wondering.
